GREAT for park

By molden

from collingwood on

Pros

  • Dosent Chip
  • Dosent Water Log
  • Flexy
  • Tons Of Pop

Cons

  • Heavy As Soon As You Get

Best Uses

  • Easy To Do Grabs
  • Mostly Rails
  • Park Only

If you love rails and grabs off jumps get the after bangs. If you think it chips easily and is heavy and gets water logged it isnt and does not! first of all it will chip only if you smack them together like you do on the chair lift and that lets the melted snow in like my brothers. And they will be heavy at first but you will get used to them fast, you just need to have leg muscles. over all get this ski.

Awesome

By JJ the Beast

from Hibbing, MN

Pros

  • awesome
  • Everything
  • Graphics
  • Jumps
  • Lightweight
  • Rails
  • Skatedeck

Cons

  • Nothing

Best Uses

  • Jibtastic Times
  • Jumps
  • Park
  • Rails

These skis are awesome. Use these in the park all day every time I go. Awesome on rails, make it hard to slip off. Jumps are awesome super light. And whoever says these are heavy are just stupid. I can do 360s off little kickers to get onto rails without a problem and I'm 13 years old. And there is a reason it got 5 out of 5 in swing weight on the free skier buyers guide. And the skate deck keeps it feeling like new every time you hit a rail, and to my suprise very durable actually. Overall just a amazing ski and if you plan on hitting the park I would reccomend these as your best option for a park ski.

Epic!

By Hofstad

from Sweden

Pros

  • Buttery
  • Cool design
  • Light
  • Nice pop

Cons

  • none

Best Uses

  • Park

This ski is awesome! you can do an ollie with those skis, just lean back pop and lean forward. not very good in pow though but this is an park ski so dont be disappointed if you ride them in pow. People complain about the weight but they are not heavy cuz when you are in the air they wont be heavy you can easily do a 360 in a very small jump and I would totally recommend these skis

Sick ski

By skiski the skier

from Calgary, Alberta

Pros

  • Flexable
  • Poppy

Cons

  • Chips And Splinters
  • Kinda heavy

Best Uses

  • Park
  • Rails

This is the perfect ski if you are going to be mostly riding park. Not very good at mountain but not incredibly bad. Pretty good for jumps just so long as they aren't that big. Mine started to split at the tip but i have skied them for multiple seasons. Definetly the ski to get if you are spending most of your time in the park

  • Buttery
  • Good For Jibbing
  • Lightweight
  • Soft
  • Stylish
  • Very flexible

Cons

  • Chips very easily
  • Sides Get Worn Out Quick

Best Uses

  • Backyard
  • Jump
  • Park
  • Rails

So far I like this ski, it's very bendy, playful, and they also do look nice. If you are in the park a lot, get these right now. Although, if you are like me and don't like seeing your skis get chipped don't get these(Reason for only 4 Stars). They chip very easily, but it doesn't affect the overall amazing performance.

By BabyK all day

from West Bloomfield, MI

Pros

  • Cool design
  • Fast
  • Stable

Cons

  • Splinters

Best Uses

  • Hockey Stick
  • Jibbing
  • Street

Overall its a pretty sick ski, super nice for jibbing and so amazingly buttery and playful.
not amazing for pow tho, you will sink so get those poles out. Also, try and fing a 2011 or 2010 afterbang because they're the same ski just different grahpics and over 100 dollars cheaper.

Cons

  • Brakes easy
  • Chips easy
  • Heavy

Best Uses

i got my afterbangs at the start of the 2011 season and i liked them alot till i realized how heavy they are. both tips started pelling apart after about15 or 20 times using them. then the metal edge came off and the plastic bottom did too. and the paint chipped alot. this was all fro normal park use, never smashed the skis once and they broke. i know in going to stay with my new libertys for sure!
