Comments about Line Skis Celebrity 90:
I was looking for an all-mountain ski, and these are perfect! I've skied these in Colorado on icy days, slushy days, big powder days and in-between and have been ecstatic every time. I ski with my two sons; the seven year old likes to take the greens and hit all the little jumps on the side, while my ten year old would rather hit the bumps at Mary Jane. Both like to take it through the trees and terrain parks. My Celebrities are smooth and stable on the groomers, while flexy enough to take on the bumps and make it through the trees on those crazy winding little turns it seems only a little kid could make. The skis are also so light weight, which is a huge plus, since I am usually carrying more than one pair at a time.
Lest you think these are Mom-skis, when I get to go out on my own and rip it, these babies rise to the occasion. They are super fast and they cut through the powder like butter!
I was a little worried when I read some reviews about sking on ice, but I managed the ice just fine.
I'm 5'10" and 150-ish pounds, a little more athletic than average, but not a buff chick. I have the 165s.
My kids are getting a little tired of hearing me finish every run with "I looooove these skis", but it's the truth!

Comments about Line Skis Celebrity 90:
Bottom line, this is my favorite ski. I have the 2011 version and have stopped using my other two pairs, both of which I used to love! I also get tons of compliments on the design, nice bonus. And I end up having a lot of conversations on the slopes with other women as we can't stop gushing about how much we love this ski.
About me: I'm light (110 lbs) and am an advanced but not super aggressive skier (probably a level 7 or 8?). Keep that in mind as you read - if you're shredding the Palisades at Squaw, ignore this review, it is not meant for your ski type, and, my opinion? This is probably not the ski for you. But for me, these skis have MASSIVELY improved my skiing in the past two years. Because they are so light (no metal) and maneuverable (good flex), they whip around trees and moguls and float across everything from powder to crud. You really feel like you're flying. I give them an A+++ for jumping around off piste - through trees, moguls, crud, slop, etc. I now seek out moguls and off piste snow - unheard of before I owned these skis.
When the snow isn't too hard or icy (more below), these skis are also excellent carving skis. They give you a great bounce at the end of a turn to propel you into the next one - you can feel that force, like you've got little snow trampolines on. If you can trust the iPhone apps that track your skiing around the day, I usually reach speeds of 30mph on groomers, and -- as long as the snow is soft enough -- my Celebrity 90s hold, carve, and are stable. I give them an A for ripping soft-snow groomers.
There is only one downside -- I would give them a C for gripping on ice. Icy days are rare out West, but on a day many locals called "the iciest day I've ever seen at Northstar", these were slippery on the sheets of ice and bulletproof hardpack. I demoed a heavy, stiff ski (Rossignol Temptation 88) and the difference was very noticeable. The Temptation carved and was stable at speed, even on ice, whereas the Celebrity did not inspire confidence. However, taking the Temptation into the trees and over moguls, I had to really manhandle them to get them to turn quickly enough. Again, might not be a problem for you if you have thighs like Lindsey Vonn, but at 110 lbs sopping wet, the stability at speed and grip that came from that weight and stiffness completely took the fun out of everything except groomed runs.
Final grade? Perfect A. They'll get you through an icy day just fine if necessary, and for everything except that 1 day a year that you're not sure whether you're skiing or ice skating, this ski is a rock-and-roll, all-mountain delight. I demoed at least 15 skis before I found these, and once they were on, I never wanted to take them off! Grab yourself a pair of GS skis for that crazy ice, but otherwise, the Celebrity 90 is absolutely your one-ski-quiver.
Dear Line: THANK YOU for making this incredible ski!!! Please do NOT add metal to these skis and make them heavy, they will lose the very character that makes them so playful, forgiving, fun, and perfect for many women. There are plenty of heavier skis out there if someone is looking for that!

These are the best skis I've owned! They're so much fun and make skiing easy. I've already progressed so much. The Celebrity 90s are fast and carve perfectly. I have Salomon STH 12 bindings on them and they make a perfect fit. I definitely recommend these!

Comments about Line Skis Celebrity 90:
This ski is too much of a wet noodle in this season's snow conditions -- both east and west. I was hoping that this would be my go to east coast and non-powder day western ski, but it really doesn't dig in on hard snow and becomes wobbly at speed -- my Celebrity 100s actually provide better edge hold. Saving grace -- they should be great for spring skiing ... So please put the metal back in for next year's model and you'll have the all round ski it's advertised to be.

Comments about Line Skis Celebrity 90:
I have had two different pairs of these skis in a 165. They are awesome for all mountain, groomers and park. It is definitely my "everyday" ski. It can handle the snow regardless of the condition. LOVE LOVE LOVE these skis. Plus the graphics are awesome. I like these skis for the park, because I like a little more ski under me for jumps. They are super stable.
