Concept: Until now there had been a large gap in ski widths between our Blend’s 100mm width and Chronic’s 85mm waist width for all-terrain freestyle performance. So we split the difference with this new, simply wider version of the Chronic in a 93mm width. Being that it shared the same performance characteristics as the Chronic we kept the Chronic name and added Cryptonite inspired by the Purple Ribbon All-Starts song.

Art: Since the first model of the Chronic was created in 2003 the Chronic has always had attacking crows integrated into the art to represent the ski’s quick, very aggressive, and powerful performance. We decided this is going to be the last year of the crow theme so we asked epic artist Dan Mumford to create a theme that showed them being counter attacked. If you line up a pair of Chronic Cryptonite and Chronic skis next to each other it creates a complete image of the scene….collect all 4!

Engineering: When we asked skiers what they’d want different than our now legendary Chronic model, the unanimous answer was don’t change a thing, just widen it…so we did.

I am 35 yrs old and have rode a ton of different skis over the years. I can say with absolute confidence that this is THE best ski ever made, hands down. This ski is not a jack of all trades and master of none. It is the master of all. I have ripped park, groomers, backcountry, and even moguls on these and it is unmatched in every single freeride skiing discipline. On top of that, Line's customer service is equally unmatched and is the standard by which all other companies should be judged. I have been and will always be a Line fan. They are THE forefront of ski evolution. Keep up the good work guys! I cant wait to see what comes next.

Just came back from a whole day of shredding! these LINE's are sick!! they ride nice on groomers, are enough wide to keep you floating in pow & still rule in the park! put some royals on'em and you've got youre allmountain ski!! peazz

These look so dope! Also looks and sound like an awesome ski! Just ordered them and I can't wait to start shredding them ;)

They are quite a bit wider and stiffer, therefore more all mountain. Dont get me wrong though, these are still off the chain in the park.

are these skis as good as the normal chronics? like as strong on groomers and on landings as the chronics? just a tad wider yeh?
Tom, Falls, AU
I've just ordered these skis online and can't wait to use them. Genuine all mountain ski. Carving groomers etc will be no prob that turn radius. Will post a review after I have skied them at BC in Feb.

I love these skis because they can do it all. The graphics are also a major bonus. They are very cool unlike the Armada ARV graphics. I love these skis and I highly recommend them.
