      Comments about Line Skis Influence:

I visit the French alps 2-3 times per year and consider myself a pretty good skier. I've always skied on fairly slim, short carving types and wanted something a bit fatter, especially for those rare powder days. This ski is all I wanted and more.

I have the 2012 edition and they float on powder, they have plenty of grip on ice and will smash through pretty much anything. Because of their length and fairly large radius they're great for speed and massive turns.

The only con is that the tips are too fat to fit in standard French bubble lifts so these skis sit side by side in the snowboard slot. Oh well. What we do for a great ride!

These skis rip in any condition - from the scratchy groomers of Summit County to the champagne powder of Steamboat - I have yet to feel anything but confident skiing Line's Influence. On hard pack you can get a bit of chatter at very high speeds, but I've never skied the bumps, crud, and powder as well as I have on these skis. Thank you Line!

Have the 179cm. Love them. Like to smack the next person that says "Waiting for a powder day huh". Or "good color - easy to find when they come off". Haha - they out turn my carvers which now just collect dust. I don't see how they are going to come off. 100% confidence in the skis on doing what you want them to do on any surface. Sure maybe not huge east coast ice moguls but no ski does. Rode the Influence from two years ago - these are better. Hooking tips isnt a problem. I cannot say at any point have they gotten weird on me when the terrain changes or I hit something unexpected. Plus I have confidence in Line backing their product from personal experience if there is an issue with the ski while under warranty.

For a ski thats 115 underfoot it handles the groomers very well. Wouldnt recommend driving the tips in too much - I mean they turn but they have their limits. Powder is great. Work is required especially on steep hardpack and moguls. Definitely not an east coast ice mogul ski. Wish I could say they are the best but I havent ridden every ski out there but I can say I didnt want to try any others. Very happy with the performance.

Have the 179s and LOVE them. 130 lb female. On these I can take on any terrain. The soft stuff, crud, ice, big open bowls to tight spots- these are what I affectionately call hero skis... they maximize what you bring to the table and allow you to ski your best in every situation.
I had almost given up on finding a ski that could handle speed and crud, but didn't feel like a damp two by four strapped to my foot. These are the perfect combo of stability and energetic responsiveness.
Any day I know I will be encountering a mixed bag of conditions (and let's be honest... when is that not the case??) I go straight for this ski.
Nothing but love for them... plus they come in my perfect length!

To keep it concise: The Influence shreds big mountain.
A solid platform underfoot for stompage.
                      Tremendous stability.
Strong tail so you aren't wheelie-ing everywhere.
Awesome edge hold. (Really incred on groomed, actually)
                      Destroys crud/chopped snow.
Tip & tail shape and flex allows for slarving, slashing, and super sassy ski related awesomeness.
