      Moderate ski, quite heavy

      By Peter

      from Northern California

      Pros

      • All mountain capable
      • Decently wide
      • Reasonably stiff

      Cons

      • Heavy
      • Slower than other skis

      Best Uses

      • Heavier folk
      • Powder

I demoed this recently in Salt Lake City, Utah. We had a couple of inches of fresh, and the ski was fairly competent all over the mountain. However, it's on the heavier side which didn't suit me so much (165 lbs, 6'1"). Probably best for people who beat up on their skis rather than those who want something a bit more nimble.

I wished they'd be good, but they were great. My old skis were so good that I was a bit afraid that I would be disappointed, but I was not! I have not yet tested the skis in powder, but on a slope with some loose snow, they were amazing.

Finally got to try my new Line Influence 105s....mmnnnnnn... Awsome! Skied Whistler a few days ago after 2 days of being closed the Peak chair had 60cm freshies! These skis rock in powder and crud! And, skied the hardpack, which lead to ice and then soft spring at the end and they gripped wickedly in all conditions. Wow... in a 105 - Who would think? This is indeed the one skier quiver. Well done.
