      These skis should be illegal

      By Pistol Pete

      from Salt Lake City, UT

      Pros

      • Can still carve trenches
      • Doesnt deflect on ANYTHIN
      • Floats like a life raft
      • Loves to slash hard turns
      • Stiff as a board
      • Tips engage perfectly

      Cons

      • For powerful skiers only
      • Handful in the bumps
      • NOT a park ski

      Best Uses

      • Broken pow
      • Corn
      • Crud
      • Powder
      • Soft groomers

I used these my first weekend in Utah; they only had 30" of base but had had 6" a few days before. They bashed through crud like it wasn't there, floated the little broken pow we had effortlessly, and STILL held a fantastic edge on the groomers. Ive never skiied anything this wide that still carves this well; its unbelievable. Turn initiation on groomers takes a bit of effort, but once they're on edge, they rip around like a GS ski. They are ridiculously stable, and can handle mach speeds withoug flinching. That being said, when it came time to ditch some speed, the tips engaged perfectly and they made it sooooo easy to slash hard turns. They take some manpower to handle, but these are by far the best skis I've ever been on.

I ski all around New England (mostly in Maine) and these skis really rock. They were my first "wide" ski and I was very impressed. They are wicked awesome in powder because of the early rise and still smooth on groomers because of the camber. I love skiing glades and these were really responsive and quick in the trees. I took them out to Snowbird/Alta, Utah, and they were just as good there. Overall, these skis are the best I've ever been on.

This is easily the best all-round "do everything" ski I've ever used! I have skied for a living for the last 25 years and have found nothing that compares to these. First day I skied them I intentionally aimed for wind and sun affected crud and the skis plowed through the snow perfectly.
            Amazing!!!

I really love these skis. I have been skiing Mantras and these skis blow them out of the water. I crushed everything on the Mtn today. I live in CO and I took em out today for my first time at Breckenridge. They handled the chop and the trees with ease.

This might be my favorite LINE ski! I've been using it every day at Squaw Valley for the past 3 weeks. It skis deep powder extremely well. I'm not afraid of sidecut. It helps this ski to turn in technical terrain. I love the early rise tip! The ski floats very well in pow. I have a pair of 130's but have been using the 115's just as well on pow days. The ski is stiff underfoot and in the tail, with regular camber. That's where it's at! I love them for skiing everyday at Squaw.

I live in the Pacific Northwest. Usually heavy water content snow and cascade concrete. Been out twice this year in setup powder and pow. This ski is the most versatile, fun ski I have owned. Turns extremely well on groomed - weight slightly forward on tips. Pow turns easy, ski floats on pow. Ski destroys setup snow, and makes the ride fun. Stops on a dime in pow, like headed for an unforseen tree. Love this ski. Thank you Line for giving intermediates a ski that makes us look expert.

              Fat Skis for Everybody

This was my most consistent backcountry choice this past year. The 115 is wide enough to throw the ski side ways, yet there is camber and a familiarity to carving a race turn at high speeds. It is an extemly versatile ski in the White Mountains of NH, light for all the skinning and fat for everything else.
