Concept: With more skiers every year getting into the freeski scene we needed a super affordable ski to make their investment that much easier without sacrificing the performance skiers expect from an authentic Line ski all-terrain freestyle ski.

Art: We went to Zack Johnson for a high paced, energetic, technical and infinitely evolving look to match the personalities & riding styles of the skiers that would be riding it. You may recognize his style from some Chronic and Invader ski’s of the past.

Engineering: We borrowed the Chronic’s award winning geometry and then applied a lighter weight Poplar Macroblock core and slightly softer flex pattern, all built in a cap construction. This provides the Mastermind with the same quickness and smooth maneuverability that the Chronic is known for, with a dramatically lighter, more nimble, forgiving feel that’s going to enable to progress with great ease. The cap construction also uses less plastic materials, thus lowers the construction cost which we’ve passed on to you in the form of a super low price. You’re welcome.
