These are great skis! Bought and have skied a pair of Prophet 100's. Purchased those 3 to 4 years ago when we had snow on the east coast. Bought the 90's last year end of season they are fantastic for east coast ice and groomers! Much easier to move around on ice than 100's. Skied the 90's today of fresh snow Wow what fun! For the money these things are great! Go long do not fear!

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 90:
Tested one day...got them the next. Instantaneous bond between my riding style on the groomers in Maine. Floats relatively well on those days with freshies of 6-10". Great Glade ski, easy to swing tips and lots of energy when bumping down ungroomed areas.
SO now I have been riding them for two seasons..last season was a great test for thin and groomed, this season for fat and happy. I have over 100 days on them to date and bought my wife the Ladies version this year because of the FUN.
"Gateway Drug"...be careful. In 10"+ you will need more under Foot. Did I mention the Influence?
Line...makes it more than just going downhill!!

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 90:
I ski mostly east coast resorts. Ski some powder when we have a lot of snow, but mostly groomed trails that get really icy by the end of the day. The prophet 90 are good all around from moguls to terrain park to everything else, but they don't really excel in any one category. I guess there is no ski that is perfect in all categories.
Regardless of what other reviewers write the prophet 90s do tend to slip a little when you hit an icy patch when carving. Also the top of the skis just gets destroyed, the paint chips of, and even the material on top gets ripped of, I get this with every ski I ever used, but even more so with the prophets...still a great 5 star ski, and i love it, and would recommend it to anyone.

I have 2 kids that just started skiing lessons this year so I wanted to give skiing a try, again. I spent the last 18 years snowboarding where my style was more freeride/carving. I spent 2 months demo'ing different skis trying to find my one ski quiver for this first season. None of the skis really inspired me and I was questioning my new commitment to skiing ... that was until a new guy at the shop convinced me to try these Prophet 90's. It was instant love! I had so much fun on these skis I've really started to forget my love for snowboarding. This ski handles and feels like the best freeride snowboards I have ever owned and that is meant as an ultimate compliment.

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 90:
My first step up from a more conventional ski at 76mm wide to this 90mm. Needless to say that i was concerned about the drive and control that i would have compared to my old skis. Throw conventional wisdom out the car window and get on some new technology. These skis blew away my old Dynastar Speed SX, which i thought was an amazing ski. I could ski harder and faster with incredible control on a shorter ski. They really do blast thru variable terrain without any deflection. Haven't skied them in Powder yet, and i think the only negative might be the weight of them. However, I would not trade off the weight for the control that these skis have. The only bumps i skied were spaced out and easy to navigate on edge, but they might be a little stiff and heavy to draw a straight line thru the quality moguls... but who knows! That's the only reason i didn't give them 5 stars. After a good dump (if we ever get one this year) i might be updating these to perfect. Awesome Skis!

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 90:
I use this ski for everything except boxes and rails, but if you wanted to, I'm sure you could. This ski is very sturdy, yet agile. The only place in big mountain skiing that I don't absolutely love it is in deep powder. I primarily got this ski because it seemed like a solid "everything" ski for competition. I was very satisfied with the ski for everything, especially in competition. In one day I skied corn, crud and chalky winter snow, and it handled great in all of them.

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 90:
First year on Line, skiing mostly in the east. Rented S3's at Whistler for one day in March and regretted every minute of it. There was no comparison. The 90s are responsive and quick on typical eastern groomers. They blast through crud, float well and generally do everything I ask of them. They even felt comfortable in icy conditions, but I would not give them quite as high marks. My 7 year old daughter likes dragging me into the pipe and terrain parks, but at 46 I am too [*] old to really judge their performance. Tips are chipping, but I skied straight skis for so long (Olin Comp SL and Mark VII from before the factory closed in '87) that I keep my legs awfully tight. The same thing happened to my two year old K2 Apaches, but worse. As an older skier who loves steeps, moguls and glades, but who's knees and VO2 max love groomers, this ski handles it all well. By far my favorite ski of the four listed above.

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 90:
East coast Canada telemarker. Fit these with NTN bindings and they did everything I wanted! Am 6'1 and 180lbs, and they rocked. I really thought they were stable in all types of snow and speed. I know they really aren't made for it, but I fit them with skins (scratched the tips and tails up a bit) and they were great in the woods as well.
Am very glad that I got these. Good weight (I had the 186cm's)and a lot of fun.

Comments about Line Skis Prophet 90:
I have been skiing for over 12 years and these are by far the best skis I have ever skied with. I ski all over the US but mostly in Aspen Snowmass and Aspen. As well as Deer Valley, Park City Utah. I have never owned skis before but Im so glad these are my first. Also I have never skied with LINE skis before but let me tell you, after owning these I will always ski with Line Skis. I have only skied once with them (today) and I couldn't wait to get back to the condo and write this review. If you want a ski that does it all on the mountain: groomers ripping it in the thick pow, or trekking through tree trails, or even moguls on black diamonds this ski is for you. I have never experienced a more versatile ski that can ride the pow but edge on groomers like no other, and boy are these things fast! BUY these skis
