TBL Sessions 2025 Recap — A Historic Week for Women’s Freeskiing

May 5, 2025
TBL Sessions 2025 brought together the best in women’s freeskiing for four days of creativity, community, and progression. With private park sessions, cash-for-tricks jams, and one of the largest all-women's prize purses in ski history, this event set a new standard.

Women’s Freeskiing Took Center Stage at Brighton For The First Ever TBL Sessions

From April 27 to May 2, 2025, some of the most talented female skiers in the world came together for the inaugural TBL Sessions—a four-day event created and led by none other than Taylor Brooke Lundquist.

Held at Brighton Resort, this invite-only session was designed to elevate, empower, and celebrate women in freestyle skiing through community, content creation, and competition.

4 Days of Progression, Creativity & Community

Over the first three days, the crew of 25+ women—including LINE Athletes Lisa Zimmerman, Shiori Takahashi, Dasha Agafonova, Caoimhe Heavey, and Marion Balsamo took over a custom private park built by Brighton.
Each athlete was filmed during the initial three days, with a focus on stacking clips rather than competing.

At the end of the third day, riders voted on video-based awards, with honors going to:

  • MVP: Olivia Asselin
  • Most Style: Jennie Lee Burmansson
  • Most Creative: Dasha Agafonova 🙌
  • Best Rookie: María Esteban
  • Best Slam: Also María Esteban

Day 4 - One for the History Books

The final day brought the heat: a 2-hour nonstop rail jam on a custom setup. From lip 270s to disaster 450s on the DFD to creativity all across the board, everyone was throwing down and putting on a show with style and tech.

Even better? The prize purse was one of the biggest in women’s freeskiing history, with $30,000 given out over the 4 days.

While everyone showed out for the 2-hour jam, three athletes stood out in the eyes of the judges:

  • 🥇 Olivia Asselin ($8K)
  • 🥈 Lisa Zimmerman ($5K)
  • 🥉 Marion Balsamo ($3K)

We were pretty stoked to see two LINE athletes on the podium :)

Tricks for Cash

Once the invite-only rail jam wrapped up, Taylor opened up the course to the public for another two-hour throwdown.

Armed with $5,000 in cash, she ran a “tricks for cash” jam that brought out a massive local crew. If you stomped a banger, you might’ve walked away with a crisp $20, $50, or even a $100 bill—right from Taylor’s pocket.

Riders (skiers and snowboarders alike!) of all levels pushing themselves, feeding off the vibe, and getting rewarded for throwing down.
This was more than a contest—it was a celebration of snowsports, progression, and community.

TBL SESSIONS - More Than a Contest

From the energy on the hill to the cheers echoing from every landing, TBL Sessions was just different. This wasn’t about qualifying for the next big thing or earning FIS points.

This was about celebrating the current generation of women’s freeskiing, inspiring the next, and giving these athletes a space to create and connect.

Huge respect to Taylor Brooke Lundquist for bringing this vision to life and paving the way for more progressive, inclusive events in our sport.

We’re proud to support her—and even more proud of every single rider who made this week what it was.
Women’s freeskiing has a bright future.
