TBL NEWSCHOOLERS FEMALE SKIER OF THE YEAR | Yep, again.
Taylor AGAIN?! Damn are we proud ski company parentals over here. From pushing the scene forward with her upcoming all female park event to just dropping banger after banger in Level 1’s Wasteland, TBL is on the MOVE.
WE CAME, WE SKIED, WE MEDALED | X Games 2025
Simple here’s how we/they fared. Tucker Fitzsimons took silver in Men’s Ski Street Style and Marion Balsamo took Bronze in Women’s Ski Street Style – outing Eileen Gu for Bronze, hehe, had to say it.
Huge shout to Konnor Ralph’s first X Games taking 4th place. They told me they call this the chocolate medal??? Taylor Lundquist (TBL4eva) in Women’s Ski Street Style and Kate Gray in Women’s Halfpipe, both gave it their all, but came out just short.
BEN RICHARDS BOOMIN | 2025 Freeride World Tour
THESE PEOPLE ARE DERANGED. 5 minutes watching the FWT is enough to make even the most freeride confident humble up realllllly quick. Rookie of the year returns – Ben’s back baby. Oh and he's already taken 3rd at the Spain tour stop. He knows though it's most about being consistent through out all the challenges of BRUTALITY... I mean tour stops, as the highest average or whatever yada yada scoring.
The Freeride World Tour can only be described as as pure terror and excitement watching these lunatics take their runs at exotic locations across the world in a preselected weather window.
‘SPLIFF’ IT UP | Newschoolers Movie of the Year Nominee
Dylan Siggers doesn’t miss--together with Liam Morgan (one of his best buds in Fernie) they cooked up another fall freeride and a lil mix of everything else, mayhem movie for the people – not the masses, but who cares. Newschoolers hit them with a very pleasant Movie of the year nominee. Hell yeah.
SPLIFF is a ski movie made to make you want to go out and make your own ski movie. No helicopters, no superstars, no epic monologue behind the moments. Just trying to Spread Positive Loving Intimacy, for Friends.
NANSHEN OPEN 2025 | The crew went to China and won, hell yeah
Brian Gardiner, Robert Ruud, Sena James Fuji, and Joel Liimatainen – 4 of our athletes with varying difficulties of name spelling got invited to the NANSHEN OPEN in CHINA. Nanshen Resort put's this event on every year and invites a ton of random hardbody skiers, why? Well cause they can and it's actually kinda badass "we didn't ask questions" we just showed up and can confirm will FOR SURE be back, hospitality OVERLOAD. Get out the broom tho because it was a full LINE podium sweep and whooping from Brian - 1st - Robert - 2nd - Sena - 3rd. Joel still kicked ass tho.
It was an all around amazing event with LINE Pros hanging with locals and jibbing out together. Before leaving they got to eat a variety of wild foods us westerners and euros aren't accustomed to as well as have an absolute rager the night after the event -- followed by a definitely not hungover visit to the Great Wall. Lot's of good scores coming out of this trip!
