First! Colter Hinchliffe and co. claim a first descent on Capitol Peak!
LINE MC Colter Hinchliffe snagged a FIRST! on Capital Peak on June 5th in what he and the crew that accompanied him have dubbed “Peg Leg,” a treacherous “fall, you die” descent – the culmination of a 14,131 technical climb one of colorful Colorado’s peaks in the Elk Mountains.
The feat was certainly full of “pucker” moments as described by Hinchliffe.
“You look over the side [of the ridge] and you’re like, ‘What did we do? We bit off so much here, how’re we going to get down?’”
