Dicky Days #7: The Predickament

October 25, 2022
Viewed by some critics as a cinematic masterpiece, The 'Predickament' captures what it means to be a freestyle skier in the U.S. So join me Dicky Martin Thomas as I enter an awkward time in my life. Leaving me to travel across Minnesota, Oregon, Utah, and Kansas in search for lively dance parties, beautiful ladies, pickup basketball, wicked waves, concrete shredders, professional YouTube Golfers, professional chefs, and of course my beloved brothers who just can’t stop thinking about corking.  Even during the Summer.

At the infamous GoodWill in Sandy right out of Mt. Hood I found these absolutely massive XXXL’s basketball shorts.  The boys said I should buy them as a joke, but I knew I had to get them to ski in forreal.  I remember around three or so years ago there was a X Games Big air event held in some sort of stadium.  Henrik Harlaut (AKA The Godfather) decided to wear shorts instead of snow pants.  Surprisingly it was super Gangster, in fact I even loved the look of it.  So I knew right when I saw those shorts I had to wear them skiing this summer.

With technology and skiing progressing at a rate like never before so much of skiing is portrayed through iPhone clips and Instagram video.  With fewer and fewer webisodes, most influencers just end up making vlogs .  That's why when setting out to make Dicky Days #7 My goal was to tell a story, rather than just show what I'm doing at that moment in time.  Nevertheless, we are still stuck with the iPhone clips, here's a first hand experience Alex Koford behind the scenes filming me Dicky.
Dicky is by no means a manly man, I may Cork but I can't Work.  That's why we left Jed Blue Waters up to the manly man work back at the Windells camp site.
Windells always hooks it up with the necessities.  Here our Line Marketing Manager Jacob Dube enjoying a nice mist shower right before meal time.

Skis made for the 'Dicky Days' of your own!
