Ana Eyssimont | Season Cut

November 30, 2023
2023 was Ana Eyssimont's first year skiing with LINE, and as you'll be able to tell by this season recap, Ana crushed it. From deep powder days in Japan to massive cliff drops at Alta and Snowbird, tune in for Ana's Season Cut.

Words from Ana

If the depth of turns and the soft landings were indicative of a good ski season, last year would unquestionably earn the title of the greatest of all time. Those snow totals are destined for the history books. Yet, as any skier knows, the essence of a memorable season transcends the surface pleasures of powder days.

For half of the year, our lives do center around weather apps and snow forecasts, but there's a deeper tapestry of exploration, camaraderie, adrenaline surges, laughter, curiosity, and a myriad of other unique emotions and experiences that skiing stirs within us.

In my case, last season undeniably claimed the title of the greatest, and although I find myself uttering this sentiment annually, the repetition doesn't make it any less true. Throughout the season, phrases like "I am so happy to be here", "I love you", "Today was so much fun”, “Let's run it back tomorrow", and "That was the best trip of my life" dominated my vocabulary. These sentiments encapsulate the significance skiing holds for me, extending beyond the volume of snow, even though that was undoubtedly a highlight.
This was my first of many ski seasons with the LINE ski team, and I owe last season to the people involved with this brand. We explored Japan, spent time skiing in Revelstoke, Jackson Hole, and Utah, and there was never a dull moment on or off snow. From the skis, equipment, and gear to the creative projects, support, and friendships, I can’t think of a better way to ski than alongside all of them.
